Freeney injury update
Colts premier pass rusher Dwight Freeney has been reported to have a third degree sprain in his ankle which is a tear of a ligament, it is located on the outer parts of his right ankle, and he has been in a walking boot the past week. The ankle is still swollen, there is a problem with stability and pain. The Colts training staff and Freeney continue to rehab the ankle, hopefully enough to the point where he will be able to play. As of right now it’s about a 50/50 decision on playing in the Superbowl. He has been known to be a fast healthier and have a high threshold for pain but a ligament problem like this presents a tough situation for him and the Colts. If Freeney doesn’t play it will give Brees more time to make checks and throw the ball down field. Even if he does play look for the Saints to take advantage of the injury.

Thats gonna hurt the colts not just from the stand point of not having his ability on the grid iron but also because he leads with emotion and voice during games.
