Ladainian Tomlinson Released From Chargers
LT otherwise known as Ladainian Tomlinson is one of the most decorated and productive running backs in the NFL. He has set numerous records, including most points scored in a single season (186), League MVP, and Offensive Player of the Year Award.
LT was drafted during the first round in 2001 to the San Diego Chargers. He immediatly made his impact on the team by earning a starting position. In seven of this professional seasons he has rushed for over 1,200 yard and caught more than 50 passes. In 2005 LT became the 7th player in NFL history to run for, throw, and catch a touchdown in the same game.
Among other records he has set he has been a valuable team asset for the Chargers, however he was released due to issues regarding his contract. This brings up the question of what will happen to LT? Will this be the end? Will he find his way to another team? The future is hard to tell but one this is certain, LT has had an impact on the NFL and whether or not this is the end for him he will be remembered for his accomplishments.
