Vertical Ab Crunch

Vertical Ab Crunch This is a more advanced and difficult version of the Ab Crunch and is yet another great ab exercise requiring no equipment.
Description
  1. Lie on your back and lift your legs until perpendicular to the floor.
  2. Place your hands behind your head, flex your core and pull your head upwards towards your legs.
  3. Lower back to the original position.
Things to Keep in Mind
  • Keep the same mentality as with a standard crunch. I.e. this is not a situp and you are not required to raise all the way; rather, focus on getting a good flex from your abs.

2010 Latest and Greatest Running Back Cleats

Welcome to the 2010 LiftedAthletics.com review of the best running back cleats. Each year the top brands in cleats (Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, and Reebok) compete to create the latest and greatest cleats. We’ll take you through their top 2010 running back models and show you which cleats we thing are the best and why.

Check out our 2009 list to see how things have changed: 2009 Best Running Back Cleats

Adizero Scorch Low

The new and improved Adidas Scorch Low is a truly high performance cleat. Able to claim the title of “The Lightest Cleat in Football” at 8.6 ounces, this cleat defines light and fast. But as you know, speed is nothing if you can not control it. That is where this cleat’s high performance cleat pattern comes into play. It allows even the best players in the game like Reggie Bush and CJ Spiller to cut at peak speeds.

Its combination of lightweight and support make this cleat our top pick for 2010.

Nike Zoom Vapor Carbon TD

Nike continues their high performance vapor series once again this year, but with some sweet improvements. This year the cleat features a carbon fiber insert for improved response and Nike’s flywire technology for extreme lightweight and support. Although slightly heavier than others at 9.9 ounces, this cleat makes up for it in support. Its narrow frame fits very well to feet and provides extreme responsiveness.

This high performance cleat takes number two on our list for 2010.

Under Armour Blur

Under Armour has really stepped up their game since 2009′s Soflo Low MC. This redesigned cleat features an improved weight of 9.7 ounces, (2009 featured a 10.0 ounce cleat) a wraparound tongue lacing system which decreases bulk, and an interior which molds to the individual players foot, allowing for superior internal traction.

Overall this shoe comes in third on our list. However that should not be taken negatively as this list is extremely exclusive. Any pair of cleats you find on this list will do their job wonderfully.

Recommended Recovery and Immune System Booster

Every serious athlete looks for that edge; quicker recovery, faster healing, and increased endurance all benefits of ASEA.

Athletes subject their bodies to immense amounts of force and damage during workouts and competition. In response to this force and damage the body naturally uses oxidative molecules to destroy damaged or unhealthy tissue; oxidative molecules act as “demolishers” of cellular damage.

However, excess oxidative molecules can cause damage and aging to healthy tissues; this is known as oxidative stress. Oxidative stress in the human body plays a role in many life threatening diseases such as Parkinson’s disease, cancer, heart disease, and Alzheimer’s disease.

In order for an athlete to continue to perform at a high level the oxidative stress resulting from athletic competition must be repaired by the body’s immune system.  The immune system functions only when it has a proper chemical balance, maintaining this chemical balance can be done by consuming supplements that allow for its function such as vegetables, fruits, juices, herbs, etc; or any substance which contains anti-oxidants.

However, even with a diet that contains enough anti-oxidants our body is not able to utilize them all.  This because what many often do not know is that in anti-oxidants work in conjunction with something known as reactive molecules.  Without reactive molecules anti-oxidants are useless. This is where ASEA comes in.

ASEA is a brand new product that delivers the perfect balance of reactive molecules, allowing the bodies immune system to function properly.  ASEA aids in healing and protection of cellular health and allows our bodies cells to function the way they were meant to function. From an athletic standpoint ASEA has show to increase VT (ventilatory threshold- the time it takes to the wall), after only 2 weeks athletes showed a 30% increase in endurance and power output. In addition most athletes also saw an reduction in muscle soreness, fatigue, and heart rate following workouts.

ASEA is used by athletes all over the world; from professionals athletes to amateurs. It has helped athletes reach new levels of success, if you would like more detailed information please read ASEAs documents:
