Tip Drill
Many times things don’t always go as planned during a game. A ball that has been deflected and is in mid air is fair game for either opponent. It is critical to be able to recognize when a ball has gone astray and to put yourself in the position to catch it. By working this drill consistently you will teach your body to attack the ball. Great drill for wide receivers and defensive backs.
Jump and Throw
When a quarterback needs to make a throw in a different direction than he is in position for he needs to turn his entire body. Instead of trying to make an off balance throw you can make a jump throw. This allows for quick turning of the body to make a pass against the grain.
Getting Loose
Before any quarterback begins a practice or game he should begin with a solid warm up.
