Lateral Quickness
Being able to move laterally is just as important as moving vertically. This drill works a players lateral quickness and ability to move in multiple directions. This drill is especially good for linebackers, it is very good practice for moving between gaps and holes in anticipation of the developing play.

Cut Block
Almost all offensive players need to know how to cut/crack block. Many running backs and wide receivers find it more effective to cut block an defensive opponent. Cut blocks when done correctly are useful for removing a defensive player from a play. Practice this drill constantly and correctly and you will be able to cut anything that moves. 
Change of Direction
Stopping and starting in a game are keys to any successful player. This drill will help the athlete with his stop and go power. It forces the player to accelerate and decelerate all while constantly changing direction. Good for practicing cuts and jukes.
