Explode Out, Fit, and Drive
A great linemen is quick off the ball and explosive in attacking their opponent. This drill teaches linemen to explode off the line and into their opponent. Once they have reached their opponent they must fit and work their feet to keep and balanced stance. This drill is excellent for practicing both of those.

Base Stability
A linemens strength comes from his leverage over his opponent. Without leverage he has no control over his opponent. Where does leverage come from? Leverage comes from the lowest and most balanced stance. Work this drill to improve your base. Practice re-stabilizing yourself after receiving contact. Develop your base until you can take any hit without losing your leverage.
