Tim Tebow gets ready for the NFLThe 2010 Scouting Combine will take place from February 24th to March 2nd in Indianapolis.  This is the chance for all prospecieve NFL players to show their stuff.  For a week prospective players are put through various tests with over 600 NFL personnel including G.Ms, head coaches, and trainers.  There is always speculation about which college players will perform and which will choke; especially Tim Tebow.

Tim Tebow is arguably one of the greatest college players of all time.  He is one of the most celebrated athletes of our generation, and has had numerous accomplishments.  Tebow has won the Heisman trophy, been invited to 3, and has also won 2 national titles with the Florida Gators.  Tebow’s leadership abilities and also his passion for the game seems to be unquestionable, but his skills as a quarterback are.

But how much do you want Tebow on your NFL team?  Can his style of play work in this new, pro-style, and much more vigorous league?  Many seem to think that the answer is no.  Tebow has been working on his basic fundamentals; especially his 3-step drop and also his 5-step drop which needed serious improvement.  Tebow is without a doubt a tremendous athlete and his work ethic is great, but many cannot see him succeeding as an NFL quarterback.  There is rumor that team are looking to use rather use his size and athleticism for some sort of a tight end or maybe even an h-back position.  It is hard to say what is ahead for Tim Tebow in the National Football League but one thing is for sure all of his hard work will be unveiled at the scouting combine. Check back to see if it paid off and how he performs.
