Really Now? More Tiger?
Tiger has made headlines across the sports world once again today with yet another one of his endorsements dropping. Everyone heard about about Accenture and AT&T dropping him back when the whole mistress mayhem was in its prime; however, today it was confirmed that Pepsi’s Gatorade has been added to the list.
This of course, was after what in my opinion was a very sincere apology last week. Now I just have a question: When are they going to give this a rest? This entire story has gotten way out of hand. If you disagree, get a load of this FACT: Tiger Wood’s name appeared on the front page of the New York Times more consecutive days than the September 11 terrorist attacks. Where are our priorities as a country?
Tiger Woods is just a guy who made a major mistake in his life. He has and will be paying his debt to society for a long time to come in terms of his damaged reputation. The world should move on with their lives and the media should let him move on with his life rather than continuing to milk these stories for more money.
To conclude this ….rant… about the media, Gatorade is out of line to drop him when they did. It would have been completely fine to drop him when this first started happening, but why now? When he finally makes a move in the right direction they drop him.
Do yourself and Tiger a favor, and stop paying attention to these stories!

The apology heard around the world: Tiger Woods
Tiger has made his long awaited first public appearance sense the night of his car crash back in November. From then till now we have heard all sorts of bazaar rumors and truths about what happened, how it happened, and who was involved, along with Woods losing some of his endorsements and dignity. Truly a tabloid moment for Tiger. But as fans we have been given the chance to forgive him for his wrong doing done to his wife and children. There have been mixed emotions from all over. Some saying his speech was sincere and honest, good enough to forgive him. Others found it to be fake and played up, not quite what they were looking for. He won’t be able to please everyone. There are still many questions that remain with Tiger. How will his marriage play out? Or for the hardcore golf fan when on earth will we see Woods be back in the field. For me I am disappointed that he wasn’t the person we all thought but for the sake of me and my golf interest I need him back on the course. Watch the full apology/statement and let me know what you think.
